Richmond is one of the more accessible cities in the area, being neighbors with Vancouver and home of the International Airport, only 20 minutes away from the US border, and close enough to important cities like Victoria and Whistler. The city occupies almost entirely Lulu Island and has beautiful waterfront views.
The population of Richmond is also highly diverse, with approximately 60% of its residents being foreign, and its frequently considered to be Canada’s most concentrated immigrant population. Because of this, there is a wide diversity of cultural spots and dining options, showcasing the diversity of the people.
